The HILTAP HT-LSB series is a dry disconnect, coupling designed for high performance in a variety of applications. This versatile coupler offers quick turn connect/disconnect, high flow capabilities, and higher transfer pressures. These couplings are ideal in applications that require high specification materials of construction for challenging temperature, pressure or material applications. An optional electronic or nitrogen/pressure transducer verifies a positive emission free connection.
Features
- The primary metal to metal seal, which is characteristic of all HILTAP fittings, offers mechanical integrity ideal to support the high axial loads caused by heavy hoses or loading arm tension
- Pressure and temperature work to energize the seal
- Thermal cycling is managed by a compensation washer that preloads the seal during engagement
- Automatic fail closed break away in a fraction of a second.
