Oil and Gas CouplingZERO HARM is a family of proven ultra safe, reliable, high pressure steam, or heavy oil flow control products. These products are designed for the unique and challenging services found in heavy oil and oil sands mining and production. HILTAP's HT3IU impact unions, RapidLOK™ (HT-490, HT-415, HT-425) series connectors replace conventional hammer unions, ANSI B16.5, ANSI 900, ANSI 1500 and ANSI 2500 lb. rated flanges respectively. Our connectors were developed in direct response to site engineers and field operators looking for an improved sealing method to replace the growing numbers of low quality unions and connectors. HILTAP connectors and related heavy oil products are faster and more robust than flanges, and were designed to take high axial loading. The dual tapered seal featured on our products acts like a hatchet driven into a stump. Two seals are superior to the single hub and clamp, since they stay sealed under axial loading and take a fraction of the time to hook up and disconnect. As operators and owners strive to reduce downtime on any production equipment or the processing plant itself, the ability to service wells, change out equipment faster, and safely re-commence production, is now more important than ever. HILTAP has a long track record of time and cost saving to ends-users and operators alike.
HT3IU impact unions offer the rugged features of conventional hammer unions, but with the field proven HILTAP seals, pressure locking safety feature, higher operating pressures and NACE materials of construction. Available in 2â, 3â, 4â and 6â nominal sizes, pipe schedules and end connections.
